My art journey started very young, when I was first exposed to Pokemon. I was truly fascinated by their transformations, the ingenious of their individual design and the uniqueness of their personalities. While many children would feel content watching the cartoon, I was burning with the desire to create my own unique Pokemon and bring it to life. Hence, I used my mind's eye to imagine my very own Pokemon, transfer it onto a sheet of paper and glue the stenciled sheet onto a cardboard piece.  Discovering this ability to transfer an idea into reality, drove me to a life-long journey of art-exploration.

I am a self-taught artist, currently focusing on honing my craft through the medium of acrylic painting. My base-expertise lies in pencil drawing and chalk-pastels. I have always been intrigued by character design, but I have been branching out into exploring scenes and settings.

Aside from art, I am a Mechanical Engineer, graduated from The Ohio State University. I am currently working as a Field Engineer for ExxonMobil. I love the aspects of creation and art in engineering. I am able to apply my creativity through problem solving and discovering unique solutions in-field.

I was born in Pakistan and currently reside in Houston, Texas. The question ”where are you from” is a complicated one as I have spent approximately half of my life in each country. I am happily married to my loving wife, Sakina.
